Watching this video hosted by Jessica Hische showed me the importance of typographic and how it give that added punch to a skill only typographic artisans can only pull off. I have come to appreciate lettering and the role it plays in books, art, and advertising. She is so passionate about typography she had a smile every time she spoke of it. The details she pointed out about typographic is truly an art form.
